Google Page Rank Drop - What Matt Cutts Says?

Recently all the sites were down their Page Rank. So all the webmasters have a same question that is “Why did our page rank down”, asked to Matt Cutts. For this question he says; the usual cause why a site’s Page Rank drops by 30-50% like this is because the site goes against our value guidelines by selling links that pass Page Rank.

In Google’s spot, the paid links that passes Page Rank is a serious issue, and it is clear violation of Google’s guidelines. This is the cause that the websites drop their Page Rank. Because of this reason, the Google’s trust of our website has been turned down. Another major point is; some of the website’s spam report has been send to Google through email. And some sites also have a labeled like “PARTNER LINKS”, which links send to the buyer websites.

After the investigation completed Matt Cutts clearly mentioned, any paid links of the particular websites that passes Page Rank to any websites would be removed from that site’s webmaster by using Google’s free webmaster tools at google.com/webmasters. At finally to prevent the drop in toolbar page rank is to make no-follow of the particular link or try to remove it, otherwise it will affect (decrease) the Google’s trust of our website.
